About the Author
Suzie was born in the Azores, Portugal, and raised in the Carolinas. She attended law school at LSU and has worked as a defense attorney in downtown New Orleans. Recently, she turned her focus to a second career, earning an English degree with a creative writing concentration from UNO. Suzie lives south of the city. Every summer, she reconnects with her extended family on Topsail Island, North Carolina. She is currently seeking a fierce advocate for JESSIE WITH A COOLER FULL and is working on her next novel, THE FEMALE ASSOCIATE.
